My rental properties are in east bay and San Jose. Now the ratio of rent to house value is very low, around 3% (yearly) ,become very hard to invest a rental property since you still burn your cash after you purchase it unless you put a lot of down payment.

try to know which area do you invest ? i am in bay area, really want to learn from you. Thanks
