Hi, saw your message and knew your daughter got into UPenn. You mentioned she got award from writing and arts competition. Is this Scholastic arts and writing awards? My daughter loves arts, writing and business. She also wants to try ivy schools. But I am not sure what level of awards will qualify her. She just got honorable mentioning from scholastic writing contest. Got regional No. 2 in marketing group, DECA, also participate in various clubs at her school. She goes to a top private school in Canada. Is Scholastic award highly valued for ivy admission? Any suggestion for extra-curriculum activities?
